Rawr!
Sry I didn't put up last week's SSRs! My life has been very busy lately, so I've been kinda lost in everything :O
I'm back now! :D For the moment... >.>;;
Neways so I'm going to combine what I got last week with what I got this week :D
So!
The Brave and the Bold - #16
Catwoman - #82
Final Crisis: Legion of Three Worlds - #1 (of 5)
Justice Society of America - #18
Superman/Batman - #51
:DDDD So yus, that kinda makes a full week. xD My list of comics I read has shrunk more and more lately as my interest in current titles and storylines have waned, and as books I like keep getting cancelled! Also I'm having a little bit of money issues, so I haven't been able to just grab stuff like I could a year ago and hope it's good. xD
Neways... on to the SSRs! :D
The Brave and the Bold - #16 - I got this b/c I thought it would be fun and interesting, esp since it had Catwoman in it :O But it wasn't :( It was OKAY, but like... it just seemed rly SIMPLE and not rly that FUN... and the characterization seemed kinda 1 dimensional to me :( I was hoping for more :| 2/5
Catwoman - #82 - Yay Catwoman!!! Boo being cancelled! :( I'm so so so sad to see this series go :( Except for a blip in Salvation Run, this title has been a mainstay with me :D I'm so sad to see her go, but this was a good wrap-up issue imo, and a nice farewell to the fans :) I enjoyed it :) 4.5/5
Final Crisis: Legion of Three Worlds - #1 (of 5) - This doesn't seem to have nething to do with Final Crisis and that suits me just FINE tyvm. It seems more like a continuation of the Legion plotline in Action Comics with Earthman and stuff... which is fine too since I liked that plotline! :D Plus it involves the other Legions I like too :D (Sadly post-Saturn Girls new costume :( ) so yay! :D Also cats :D Many many cats! xD From all 3 worlds! :D >.> <.< Ignore me xD So yus, this was a good extra fat issue :) It seems as if every issue is going to be extra fat now.. and also slightly more expensive o_o;; Well as long as it's actually LONGER.. >.>;; Superboy Prime amuses me more than annoys me now. xD He's just so amusing :D Meow! 4/5
Justice Society of America - #18 - Interesting! :D Also neat to see the different chars talk with each other and show different viewpoints about things! :] This issue was a little slow paced but I enjoyed it b/c of all the ideas and interesting dialogue :) I'm scared that this storyline is heading to a predictable end tho :( 3.5/5
Superman/Batman - #51 - Hee! I initially skipped this issue b/c I got rly sick of Superman/Batman after the whole "OH NOEZ ALIEN SUPERHEROEZ ARE TURNING EBIL" plotline way back when which was TERRIBLE xD But scans_daily made me want to get this and I dun regret it one bit! It is amazingly cute and fun :D And me and my sister spent half an hour laughing about what the storylines and origin stories of the other heroes and villains must have been in the chibi world! xDDD RLY RLY cute and fun :] 5/5
Neways :D So yus!!! Yay!!! Rawr!!!! *flops*
I'm gonna go and sleep now. Exhausted. :(
Good night ! :D

Week of August 13, 2008 Super Short Reviews
*yawns* I'm tired :( I've been very busy lately... got a new job (it's a sekrit for nao cuz i dun want ppl to judge me for it :( ) and trying to find a new place to live :]
Neways... so this week I got:
Action Comics - #868
Batman - #679
Booster Gold - #11
Green Lantern Corps - #27
Supergirl - #32
Actually I got Supergirl in the middle of LAST week with Manhunter, but I didn't get around to reading it until this week and I never got around to reading Manhunter b/c the horrible HORRIBLE art just turned me right off :\ I might read it later :\
Neways since I need to write an email and I'm just delaying that plus I have a friend coming over for the weekend tmrw, I should prolly get on with this xD
Action Comics - #868 - Good! :D I rly like the art and stuffs, and the story continues to be build and be exciting :] Supergirl is in it and while I have some qualms about her character at least she HAS character, and at least it seems they're mostly ignoring the Kelly characterization. xD Plus she's adorable! :D A good issue :) 4/5
Batman - #679 - Even tho I'm clearly not Morrison's intended audience since I dun understand any of his references, at least I UNDERSTAND WHAT IS GOING ON in this issue, and that is a pretty big accomplishment for all the Batman RIP and Final Crisis stuff lately! XD This was okay actually, and the plot that makes somewhat sense to me helps a lot to make it okay xD I am curious about what is going on now that I'm not like BWUH in every panel :] So that's good! It still is kinda blah to me but I'm intrigued :) 2.5/5
Booster Gold - #11 - I liked this issue muchly and can't wait for the next one! It took me a bit to follow the time travel stuff but I like alternate universes and stuff and Booster has CONFIDENCE now and yay! :D It's nice to see things go well and have a story that doesn't involve Mr. Mind or the TIME DESTROYERS (or whatever their name was) finally :] 5/5
Green Lantern Corps - #27 - Interesting but also gross. D: Very gross :( But interesting? Also character development! Yay! And a build up to Blackest Night, one of the few megacrossovers I am not pre-emptively hating! :D Yay! Except for the grossness I liked this issue :) 4/5
Supergirl - #32 - Yeah this issue made no sense :\ And the more I think about it the less sense it makes. :( However Supergirl's future costume looks awesome and she came up with a plan (even if it makes no sense) :] So it doesn't get a -1000000 for not making any sense. xD 1.5/5
Yub yub.. so that's it :D
My back hurts :(
*hugs* I'll see you next week!

Week of August 6, 2008 Super Short Reviews
Meow meow meow meow meow meow :D
Meow!
:D
Hihi! :D So I'm back with another installment of the Super Short Reviews! I feel more enthused today, possibly b/c I have a new comic to look forward to and that makes me happy! :D Or... somebody slipped something in my food >.>;;; That could be it too D:
So today I got:
Detective Comics - #847
Final Crisis - #3(of 7)
Spiderman Loves Mary Jane - #1
Rawr! :D Like a cat! xD
Spiderman Loves Mary Jane made me SO happy, and I just read it like FIVE MINUTES AGO so the happiness is staying for now :D *bops* It's been a while since a comic made me happy after reading it so that is good! :]
SOOOOOOOOOO ONTO FUN AND CRAZY THINGS :O
Detective Comics - #847 - Rawr it's Hush and he's being Hush-like. >.>;; I still dun like the char but Dini does a good job making the story interesting, and including interesting characters :] Also I can follow this plot which is a plus with Batman stories lately XD In general tho it was an okay read but it wasn't super great or nething. Just okay. :) 3/5
Final Crisis - #3(of 7) - I actually didn't hate this issue of Final Crisis! OMG :O Mebbe b/c I KINDA SORTA GET what's going on now as long as I just understand that nothing in this book is rly affecting any other book. Things are still just kinda happening and I'm a little confused about stuff but I think it appeals to the
"OMG EVERYTHING THAT CAN GO WRONG IS GOING WRONG" part of me, the part that likes the stories about things being thrown into chaos, the world being completely broken and only a few ppl are still unaffected enuf to fight back but they have no idea what they're going to do. :] I like those plots... I dunno why :] I just like.. the desperation and the confusion and also just seeing chars kinda sort things out, amidst chaos. :o So yus... it's enjoyable in a OMGWTFTHINGSAREHAPPENINGTHEWORLDISFALLINGAPARTAHHHHHHH aspect :D 3.5/5
Spiderman Loves Mary Jane - #1 - YAYYYYYYYY!!!!! At first I thought this was a reboot of the series but it turns out to only kind of being like a reboot, it feels rly different and seems to only gloss over the past continuity and is starting anew which actually is pretty refreshing b/c it gives it a nice fresh feeling that is accessible to new readers (also that I didn't like how the mood and things were going last time neways) and YAYYYYYY I lurve it to death!!! :D Except not to death cuz then the issue would be dead and I couldn't read it nemore :( I luffed it to kitties! There! :D MANYWAYS... I enjoyed the last series too, but this one is more realistic, and it actually seems like the chars are students this time and not WB "students" who never do homework, never carry school bags and seem to have infinite money and time on their hands. ALSO THEY HAVE PARENTS. WOAHMG :O XDD And MJ is very down to earth and likeable, as are the other chars and I like hearing her thoughts on things and seeing her life and stuff :] This issue is simple but also very well written (even if sometimes it felt like "guys help me out, how do teenage girls talk!?" xD ) and just made me feel very happy and stuff :) Yay! :D The art is good too and does a good job of making the chars look more down to Earth (even if everybody but Flash is like a stick figure xD) :D 5/5 CATS OF DOOM
YAY!!!
I'm pleased about the comics I'm buying again :D PLEASED!!! :]
So.. that is that :O
Oh!
Nevermore999 is famous!!! :DDD I know a famous person! YAYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!! :DD Also she is ttlly awesome and smarts and it doesn't surprise me that she'd be noticed for that, even in a large crowd! :D
YAYYY!!!
I am too happy right now >.>
*pricks self* *deflates*
Mrow....
>.>
<.<
*reinflates*
OKAY.
So that's that then :D I'll put up a longer review of stuff soon hopefully! :D

Week of July 30, 2008 Super Short Reviews
Warb :o
Hihi :D
Sry for the delay, I've been busy and stressed D: But today is a holiday in Ontario! Yay! :D Tho it's non statuatory so some ppl still have to work :(
Neways.. so this is what I got this week :D
Blue Beetle - #29
Catwoman - #81
Green Lantern - #33
Huntress: Year One - #6 (of 6)
Justice Society of America Annual - #1
Rawr... so yus :D Due to sudden money constraints I may have to cut down on my comic buying by a lot :( Sadly, that might spell the end of BB which I haven't been enjoying as much since Rogers left :( But we'll see :O A lot of the books I like have been cancelled tho, so that's helped my money a little... >.>;;
So onto the SSRs! :D
Blue Beetle - #29 - I didn't rly like this issue :( While I thought the characterization was good in parts, in other parts it was just very "wtf"? Plus I had some problems with how they're so far handling the sensitive subject they're tackling and the messages they're sending :( There were some cute moments tho, but in general I didn't rly enjoy this issue at all :( 2/5
Catwoman - #81 - Yay Catwoman! I liked this issue cuz it was fun and a nice break from some of the more serious depressing stories in Catwoman of late :D Also Batman's in it! :D I'm going to miss Selina when this series ends :( 4/5
Green Lantern - #33 - This is kind of a slower issue as there's a lot of exposition and stuff, but it's still a good read and it continues to develop the characters :D Plus I like seeing Sinestro as a good guy xD I'm rly enjoying this retelling of Hal's origin story arc! :D 4/5
Huntress: Year One - #6 (of 6) - YAY HUNTRESS!!! This is a fantastic end to a fantastic series and I rly rly enjoyed it :D It had some problems like the previous issues, the dialogue is a little clunky, the pacing is uneven and seems to be rly rushed at the end, and there was one scene where I thought the analysis of established characters was a bit off. :\ But I still rly liked it. :D I LOVE Helena here, and I loved her development as a hero and how kickass awesome she is in general! :D My only problem is there seems to be a lot left hanging at the end and I rly hope for a Huntress: Year Two to come out and solve all this soon! This is still an amazing read tho. :] 4.5/5
Justice Society of America Annual - #1 - This was kinda neat at first :D But the ending was kinda predictable D: I did enjoy seeing different takes on the chars tho and seeing Earth-2 and how it's changed :] But.. I dunno.. b/c of the ending, it just kinda feels like the whole story had no real impact on nething and it was kinda blah-ish. It was kinda fun to read tho :D I just kinda was left wondering "what was the point?" at the end. :( 2.5/5
Meow meow :D Neways that's it :D My plan is to review all 6 issues of Huntress back to back to back to hopefully get myself back into long reviews.. xD I'm lazy D: Also busy :O
Neways, there's some stuff I need to do now. >.>;; Be goods! :D *hugs*
