Hi hi :)
I know, it's been so long since I've done a review :( I've been rly exhausted and tired lately and dealing with something kinda big :\ I dunno if I have a problem (tho my friends think I do) or not :|
Neways.. so I'm back :D Also this week had some comics that interested me so this is a good time to be back I guess xD I can't promise that I'll stay back or even get to longer reviews but I'll try my best! :] It's just so hard for me to get any energy to care about nething lately and I just feel like I wouldn't be able to deal with trolls or just the usual stuff that posting online can sometimes bring :( Also I am SO FREAKISHLY COLD RIGHT NOW ;-; I feel paper thin.. D:

Detective Comics - #850
Green Lantern Corps = #30

I feel like I should throw in more books from weeks past, like Secret Six #3 or Final Crisis: Resist but I'll start small for now :)
So here are the Super Short Reviews! :D
Booster Gold - #14 - I actually didn't rly like this issue :( I wanted to, but I've found the recent arc boring, and this issue, which I guess ends it, doesn't break the trend. It just felt very blah to me, like there's no real rhyme or reason for what's going on to make me care about it, just.. some stuff happens... :\ 2/5
Detective Comics - #850 - Was rly rly rly looking forward to this, and the larger format (and larger price) raised my expectations more. :] At about the midway point, I was kinda dissapointed, I expected something a little more substantive but then it rly picked up and the ending was fantastic and didn't dissapoint :) I esp like how Selina was not forgotten in this equation or treated as merely a plot device for Batman or something :) So yay! :D 3.5/5
Green Lantern Corps = #30 - Strangely, this was the book I rly rly rly enjoyed this week and given the other two titles I got, I didn't expect that. xD Even tho not a lot actually "happened" in terms of action or nething, I thought it was rly interesting and I enjoyed the amount of characterization in it. :) The ending is also something that's been building and I thought it was executed rly well :) I'm excited for more! :] My only issue is that the art seems a bit sloppy or just off in places :| 4/5
That's it for now :) Hopefully this wun just be a one time thing and I'll be updating again, if not with longer reviews for the moment, at least with SSRs :)

I'm glad to see your back to doing reviews, and I hope my other posts weren't part of that bad "usual stuff."
You're totally right on the Booster Gold. I don't know if it's all the writer switching or what, but it hasn't wowed me in a while now. It's one of those DC books that's doing something different and unique, so it's frustrating that it isn't better than it is. It feels like there's an opportunity going to waste.
You can't imagine how much I missed your reviews, and how happy I am to read a new one.
I agree with you on GLC, the prelude to the Blackest Night is coming along flawlessly, that's one event I can't wait for.
Once again, great to read a review, even if it's a SSR!
