I was always under the impression that NC-17 was better than R. o_O But it's not? :\
Edit: Oh! XD Canada doesn't have an NC-17 rating! >.>;; R here is equivalent to NC-17 in America.
We have 18A which is America's R, and R which is America's NC-17 XD
That's why I was under the impression that NC-17 would be better than R! :D

NC-17 is worse. Younger people can still get into an R movie if they have and adult. They can't get into an NC-17 movie at all.
I see that now Onion! :D It's different in Canada, that's why I was confused XD
This blog is rated NC-17? How have i missed all the nudity and extreme violence? There's hardly even any bad language? :/
It's all the smexing.
Hey, I just put mine in there too and I got an NC-17, and the reasons were words like "hell," "sucide," "gay" and "death." (How are you going to talk about comics without the word "death"? It's all killing and resurrection these days!)
I don't get it.
"NC-17," like all ratings, is pretty much completely arbitrary (This Film Has Not Yet Been Rated is an amusing documentary on ratings, if anyone's interested). But it seems to boil down to naked genitals and people enjoying sex, particularly oral. Also, gayness.
I don't see how the MPAA ratings can possibly be applied to blogs though; like, who rates magazines or newspapers?
